Manny Pacquiao Says Gay People Are Worse Than Animals

CNN – Eight-time world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has apologized after sparking outrage in the Philippines by saying gay people are “worse than animals.”  The 37-year-old, who is running for a seat in the country’s senate, made the remarks on a television program broadcast by Filipino station TV5. Campaigning to secure one of 12 national seats he said: “It’s common sense. Will you see any animals where male is to male and female is to female? “The animals are better. They know how to distinguish male from female. If we approve [of] male on male, female on female, then man is worse than animals.” He first clarified his comments on his Instragram page, before later posting a video message on his Twitter account.  “I’m sorry for everyone who got hurt due to my comparison of gay people (homosexuals) to animals,” he said. “It was my mistake. Please forgive me for those who I’ve hurt. “But this does not change my position against same sex marriage. That’s what I believe. My only mistake is comparing gay people to animals.”

Well tell us how your really feel, Manny! I think my favorite  part of this besides the wildly inappropriate and tone deaf homophobia is the apology. While I cannot condone any sort of comparison of gay people and animals, I can absolutely get behind an apology like this. “I shouldnt have said that, but I basically stand by the general idea.” I do this kinda shit with my wife all the time. Like “I’m sorry that upset you. But it doesnt mean I’m wrong.” Or like “I’m sorry that you saw that.” Not really apologizing for what I’ve done, just apologizing because of what got me in trouble. It was rude of me to say that, but I still really basically believe everything about it. I shouldnt have gone that far, but I’m not apologizing for the first 90% of it.

Also to be clear, animals, in general, are better than humans. Gay humans, straight humans, all humans. My dog is better than every gay guy out there. Hes also better than every other straight guy out there too. Humans are such cocksuckers. All we do is ruin the planet and murder each other and rape each other and exploit each other for money and shit. Animals eat each other but only when they’re hungry. Otherwise they’re just chillin. Living all majestic and polite and shit. We should all be more like animals in that respect. And so if we should all strive to live like animals, and there arent any gay animals, maybe Manny has a point? Who knows.
